Real Madrid snatch Isco

The long awaited transfer of Isco has finaly come to an end with the midfielder picking Real Madrid as his new team. He has signed a five-year deal with the Spanish giants.

For a long time, it was thought that Man City were on the verge of signing young wonderkid Isco from Malaga but the Spaniard held off his decision until after the U21 European Championships. However, then Real Madrid bidded for the player and the football had was anticipating where he would go for a couple of weeks. In the last few days though, Real president, Perez, was saying they would be signing the player in the next few days and it seems he was true to his word!

Isco will hope to play a key part in a newly shaped Madrid team. With Gonzalo Higuan looking set to sign for Arsenal and the possible departure of Ronaldo, the Real team could look very different next year! It is clear that they are trying to say 'Good Riddance' properly to Jose Mourinho by making the team unrecognisable next to last seasons team. Youth is becoming very popular at Madrid with young emerging stars like Varane pushing there way into the team and putting in some very credible performances, also the hopeful signing of Welsh starlet Gareth Bale and obviously young Isco himself.

The 21-year-old player was noticed by many last season when he put in some amazing performances for Malaga. Then he stole the show at the Under-21's European Championships with Spain walking to the title. He really did make the difference with Thiago Alacantra also playing really well. He will hope to add on his recent success by winning back the La Liga title for Real and going even further in the Champions League than last season where they were dumped out at the semis by runners-up Borussia Dortmund.
However, it would be unfair to expect such an amazing season by Isco because he is only young and it will take him a while to settle in at Madrid but I ha e no doubts that he will be one of if not the best player in the world in a few years time! What do you think?
